Welcome to Wildemount! This large continent is home to a huge variety of races and creatures, and magic is, if not everywhere, at least very present. There's a few major points of interest, any of which you might find the Mighty Nein. Depending on whom you ask, they're either heroes or a roving band of assholes. (The truth, as usual, is somewhere in between.)
Major points of interest where you might find them include:

Zadash, a bustling city in the Marrow Valley. Formerly the capital of the Julous Dominion before absorbed into the Dwendalian Empire, this city is built around three towers called the Tri-Spires. The Pentamarket has a number of shops and stalls for anything you might need, and the Pillow Trove is there for your more... intimate needs. Just stay clear of a bar called the Evening Nip, unless you're in the know. A branch of the Cobalt Soul is here, but you'll need permission to research in their library.
Rexxentrum, the capital of the empire. A huge city with well over twice the population of Zadash, this is the seat of power for the Dwendalian Empire. Castle Ungebroch is where King Bertrand Dwendal rules from, but he's not the only player here. The Cerberus Assembly's highest members reside in eight huge towers around the castle called the Candles. Go further west from there and you're bound to find the Soltryce Academy, where bright minds are trained in the arts of magic. The Cobalt Soul's main branch is here as well, keeping an eye on both of the other major players here.
Rosohna, the city in perpetual twilight with clouds that block out the sun. This is the capital city of the Kryn Dynasty that covers the north of Xhorhas, the area to the east of the Empire. Largely drow, there are also goblinoids, ogres, beast races, and the occasional giant. Humans will be assumed to be Imperial spies unless you are vouched for by one of the very few people with the Bright Queen's trust. Strange shrines to a dodecahedron are dotted around the city, but wander through enough and you'll find the Firmaments district, and a house with a giant tree on top of it - the only green-leafed tree in the entirety of the city.
Uthodurn, a city in the Greying Wildlands separate from any sort of imperial or dynastic influence. This underground city is home to humans and dwarves, with the very rare other race thrown in. If you want to drink, eat surprisingly tasty black moss cupcakes, or get some of the finest smithing on the continent done, this is the place. Just don't mind the girl with a halo you might find wandering around.
Nicodranas, a major port city that's mostly under the control of the Clovis Concord. The exception is the Open Quay district owned by a mysterious mage in an equally mysterious tower with no obvious entrances and a tendency to shrink and grow depending how you look at it. It's home to the Lavish Chateau, an extremely fancy hotel where the famed Ruby of the Sea performs on some nights, and other musical acts on other nights. There is company for rent if you so desire - and have the money for it.
The Ball-Eater, a massive ship with three masts, an outer balcony, and lots of cannons. Formerly the Squall-Eater, it has been renamed by the Mighty Nein and brought under the command of 'Captain Tusktooth', though he's often away and command is handed to Orly Skiffback, a grizzled tortle. Still, if you're friends of the Nein, you're friends of the Ball-Eater - just don't expect a free ride. Everyone on the boat needs to at least do some work, even if it's in the kitchen or cleaning the deck.
